Ever hear the phrase, “You Are What You Eat?” … When it comes to keeping your health in check, look first at the foods you consume.
Vegetables and fruits such as broccoli, berries, cherries, apples, and dark greens can help to fight against cancer. Non-GMO soy foods can also contain several key nutrients and phytochemicals that helps your dietary fiber and combat risk of colorectal cancer (also known as colon cancer, rectal cancer or bowel cancer). The infographic above, provides a brief guide to the best cancer fighting foods.
What’s important here is that you do not see any ANIMAL proteins on this list!… No meat, chicken, pork, dairy, fish, etc..
And this is because these foods tend to INCREASE cancer, not reduce it.
A little bit of wild caught (not farm raised) fish high in omega fats, such as Salmon is good. But generally speaking, people in America are eating too much animal protein and far too LITTLE fruits and vegetables.
Go ahead and still continue eating your animal protein if you need/want to, but reduce the amount, have more vegetables and make sure the protein is raised healthy – that means free range, no hormones and organic.
If you say “it’s too expensive”, then just eat less, but eat better QUALITY – the price works out the same!
After all – if you try to save money now and not take care of your healthy, you’ll end up spending MORE money later on your health, trying to fight diseases … wouldn’t you agree?
