[ 2024 ] ⚠️WARNING: Sitting Like This Increases Your Blood Pressure

Did you know that the #1 way most people around the world sit, is by crossing their legs. Both men and women do it, but more women do so, especially in the US.

Now, sitting like this looks proper and can be sexy as well.

However, multiple research studies have shown that by crossing your legs increases your blood pressure.1

This is because when you put one knee over the other, it sends blood from the leg up to the chest … resulting in a larger quantity of blood being pumped out of the heart.

This extra “stress” increases your blood pressure.

Additionally, crossing your legs causes reduced blood flow and circulation because the blood vessels are constricted, which again results in more work for your heart and higher blood pressure.

In fact, this can even lead to blood clots and thus, a heart attack or stroke.

So avoid crossing your legs, especially for more than 10 min. And make sure you get up and walk around every 30 minutes or so.
