MYTH – Does Apple Cider Vinegar Promotes Healthy Blood Sugar & A1C Levels?

Having healthy blood sugar levels is SUPER important for your health, fitness, and longevity – both physically and mentally.

There are a few studies that do show that apple cider vinegar can help have healthier post-meal blood sugar levels.

These studies showed that apple cider vinegar works at promoting healthy blood sugar in regular people, as well as type 2 diabetics. But, not much information on type 1 diabetes.

However, after looking over so many studies – the real conclusion is that the results, or blood sugar benefits, are very minor and only last a few minutes. The studies were small and were also flawed in many ways.

If your goal is to have healthier blood sugar levels – there are many natural options.  All have long-term results and are far more powerful than apple cider vinegar.

However, there’s nothing wrong with taking apple cider vinegar if you’d like. It does have other health benefits.

The best way to take it is with meals, in the liquid form – the raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized version is the best. Just dilute 2 tablespoons of it with a cup of water because of the acidity.
