REAL Truth About Ashwagandha & Lowering Cortisol + Stress in 2024

"YES - Decrease MY Stress & Cortisol"

Years ago I did an article about Ashwagandha and how it works, the benefits, pros, cons, warnings, and which is the best form.

It’s been over a decade (2024) since that original article and I’ve learned a LOT more since then about this awesome herbal extract.

And unfortunately, how most of us are getting completely ripped off and wasting money!

And before I begin…. today’s topic is very important for anyone interested in:

  • Lowering stress hormones such as cortisol
  • Improving other hormones, such as testosterone and growth hormone
  • Decreasing stress levels, worry, and anxiety
  • Improving deeper and more restful sleep
  • Having better muscle-building and fat-burning workouts and results

As I said, this is one of my favorite topics because this is one of the best and most important ways of looking and feeling better, while slowing down the aging process and living a longer, healthier, and happier life.

AND one of the keys to reducing many illnesses and health problems.

happy healthy life

Again, all related to lowering stress and improving your youth hormones.

With that said, let’s get started…

What’s Ashwagandha?

It’s an herbal extract that’s been used for hundreds and thousands of years for

  1. Lowering stress levels
  2. Reducing anxiety
  3. Increasing virility and sex drive

And it helps accomplish these benefits by improving & BALANCING your hormone levels.

Step 1 – promoting lower stress hormones such as cortisol.

Step 2 – By lowering excess cortisol, your body will indirectly increase your testosterone levels.

Problem With Ashwagandha

Unfortunately, like most herbs and supplements, they do NOT work.

They are complete rip-offs because they are NOT using the correct:

  1. Extract form
  2. Optimal dosage

Which is found in human clinical studies and ultimately, what has worked in the “empirical” evidence, and thus, in the REAL world.

Do NOT Use The WRONG Forms

Firstly, you always want to use a high extract form of any herb, especially Ashwagandha.

This is where most companies will rip us off.

An extract form is the POTENCY of the herb.

So you want a minimum of 10% and up to 30% extract when it comes to Ashwagandha… and I’ll expand more on this in a minute.

You never want to get the “powdered” version, which is just junk because it does NOT contain any of the active ingredients which has all the benefits.

Ashwagandha 1

Ashwagandha 2

And you don’t want the low extract forms or else you’ll have to take like 4-10x the dose and hence, a big waste of money.

Ashwagandha 3

Ashwagandha 4

Basically, it’s like getting 5, $1 bills… versus getting 3, $20, or even $100 bills.

It’s $5 versus $60 or $300 dollars.

I’m not going to be negative and point out all the bad companies. Besides, there are too many of them.

I’ll give you the best ones below…

2 Best Forms of Ashwagandha

The two best, clinically proven in dozens of human clinical studies are KSM-66 and Sensoril.

 2 Best Forms of Ashwagandha

I’ve tested both of these, by themselves. From very low dosages to very high doses

I wanted to see how each of these affects both my hormones and stress levels, as well as how I FEEL.

So, here’s the difference between the two.

KSM-66 gave me a more energized feel. I was focused but had more energy.

So, I take this during the day.

Sensoril made me feel more relaxed. It has a more calming effect. It helps lower anxious feelings.

So I take it more after my workouts and before bed, to help me relax and sleep.

However, EACH of these does have its specific benefits and after doing a ton of blood work on myself, my pro athletes, and clients, I ended up combining the two for maximum positive effects.

This also helps save you money because you don’t need to take as much.

It’s all the synergy.

Best All-In-One Formula

I use two different products that contain the correct forms and dosages of Ashwagandha.

AlphaViril For Lowering Cortisol & Boosting Testosterone

In AlphaViril, I’m using 75% KSM-66 and 25% Sensoril combo. More KSM-66 and less Sensoril.

This is giving me all the hormonal benefits while energizing me as well.

And this is one reason you take AlphaViril in the morning and around noon.

Great for libido, sex drive, more testosterone, lower cortisol levels, much harder, bigger and fuller erections.

And thus, you do NOT take AlphaViril before bed.

Because it optimizes your testosterone and sex hormones, you can perform any time, any place. So, don’t think you need it right before bed to perform or something.

AlphaViril’s primary goal is more testosterone. The secondary is lowering cortisol. Of course, it has lots of other hormonal benefits.

More details are below at the end of this article.

Stress & Cortisol Relief For Lowering Cortisol, Adrenal Strength & Relaxation

However, Stress & Cortisol Relief is very specific for lowering stress hormones + cortisol levels.IPR

I use the opposite combination of the two … 75% Sensoril and 25% KSM-66.

I also use double the dose of both ingredients because my primary goal with Stress & Cortisol Relief is to lower stress hormones and improve adrenal function.

I take Stress & Cortisol Relief after my workouts and before bed.

Depending on your goal, you choose what you think you need the most.

I personally take BOTH products because I want maximum muscle, libido, fat loss… and minimal stress levels.

However, I don’t take them all the time, or every single day.

I don’t want you to waste your money, nor my own.

Again, more details about both of these awesome products, below at the end of this article. Including discounts and coupons.

Needless to say, Ashwagandha is an awesome herb for lowering your stress hormones and improving your anti-aging hormones such as testosterone.

It helps to also lower anxiety and helps you sleep better as well.

Something we all need.

Just make sure you get the correct extract form and dosage.

The best and most clinically proven are KSM-66 and Sensoril.

Use KSM-66 more during the day and Sensoril more at night.
